
Death Anniversary of Former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee: President Draupadi Murmu on Saturday laid a wreath on his memorial ‘always Atal’ on the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. PM Narendra Modi also paid tribute to former Prime Minister Atal ji and other leaders to former PM Vajpayee. Earlier, PM Modi remembered the former Prime Minister on social media platform X.

PM Narendra Modi wrote, “Regards to former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji on his death anniversary on behalf of all the countrymen. Their dedication and service developed for all -round development of the nation and developing service and self -reliant India is motivating everyone to contribute to the creation of self -sufficient India.” At the same time, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP National President JP Nadda, Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh, Delhi CM Rekha Gupta and other senior leaders also paid tribute to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in ‘always Atal’ on his death anniversary.
Please tell that Atal Bihari Vajipi was born on 25 December 1924 in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. He took over as the Prime Minister of the country thrice. Apart from politics, Atal ji also gained fame as a good poet. His poems still inspire people. Atal ji breathed his last at AIIMS Hospital in Delhi on August 16, 2018.
