But some rules have been fixed regarding the annual Fastag pass. Like it will not work on all highways and expressways. On the highways and expressways where it will not work, you will not be able to use this pass even with it. Fastag Annual Pass will be valid on these highways and expressways
Fastag Annual Pass will now be valid on many major national highways and expressways. These include National Highway 44 (Srinagar–Kanyakumari), National Highway 19 (Delhi–Kolkata), National Highway 16 (Kolkata–East Coast), National Highway 48 (North–South Corridor), National Highway 27 (Porbandar–Silchar), National Highway 65 (Pune–Machilipatnam), National Highway 3 (Agra–Mumbai) and National Highway 11 (Agra–Bikaner).
Apart from this, important expressways like Delhi–Mumbai, Mumbai–Nashik, Mumbai–Surat, Mumbai–Ratnagiri, Chennai–Salem, Delhi–Meerut, Ahmedabad–Vadodara and Eastern Peripheral will also be covered in it. With the use of Fastag Annual Pass, long distance travelers across the country will not have the trouble of stopping at toll plazas. Travel will become much easier and faster for the people.
Will not work on these highways and expressways
FASTag Annual Pass may have been implemented on many major national highways and expressways. But it is not valid on all routes yet. It cannot be used on state highways and expressways that are operated by private developers or agencies of different states.
On such routes, toll will still have to be paid through normal Fastag or cash payment. This means that if you travel to any part of the country, then it is important to first know whether the annual pass can be used on the highway or expressway you are going to pass through or not. So that there is no problem on the way.
