Yameen Victor, Moradabad: A heartbreaking case of molestation of a pregnant woman has come to light in Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh. A woman from Bilal Masjid locality in Thakurdwara Nagar has submitted a complaint letter to the local police and made serious allegations against a person from her own locality and her 3-4 colleagues. The victim has requested the police for justice, so that the accused are punished and such incidents do not happen again.

Accident occurred in the dark of night

The victim said that she is pregnant for several months. On Saturday night, she was returning to her home after getting an ultrasound done. A person from the locality, just a short distance from the house, stopped him with three to four unknown companions. It is alleged that these people started obscene acts with the woman. The accused, abusing the woman, said, “You have stolen the fish from my adherence, take off your burqa and search.” After this, he forcibly tried to pull the woman’s burqa and along with his colleagues started taking her towards the forest.

Husband’s courage saved life

During the incident, the woman shouted, after hearing the voice, her husband immediately ran out of the house. Due to the understanding and courage of the husband, he reached the spot and rescued his wife from the clutches of the accused. If the husband did not reach on time, the situation could have been even more frightening. This incident has created a sensation throughout the locality.

Insaf pleading from the police

After the incident, the victim woman and her husband immediately reached Kotwali and handed over the complaint letter to the police. He has demanded strict action against the accused. The police have registered a complaint and started investigating the case. Local people are angry about this incident and they want the culprits to be punished as soon as possible.
