Mahavatar Narasimha: This animation film is currently performing brilliantly at the box office. It has crossed the Rs 200 crore mark within 23 days of release and is earning Rs 6-7 crore per day. Despite a film of Rs 400 crore like Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR’s ‘War 2’, ‘Mahavatar Narasimha’ has maintained its place. The story of this film revolves around devotees Prahlad, Hiranyakashyap and Lord Narasimha, which has established a deep connection with the audience. After release on 25 July, it collected 44.75 crores in the first week, 73.4 crore in the second week and 70.2 crore in the third week. On Independence Day, on 15 August, it earned a growth of 178.85% to Rs 7.25 crore. The Hindi version has earned the most. On the other hand, ‘Saira’ earned only Rs 57 lakh in 30 days and its worldwide collection was Rs 545.39 crore.
