The Election Commission of India has responded in detail the allegations of opposition parties like opposition to the SIR process and ‘vote theft’. During the press conference on Sunday, the Election Commission also clarified the situation on the SIR process. In his reply, he said that politics is being done by targeting the voters of India by placing a gun on the shoulder of the Election Commission. The commission stated in two words that it stands like a rock with the voters of the country.

The Election Commission said in the press conference, “First of all we want to give a message to voters. According to the Constitution of India, every citizen of India who has completed 18 years of age, must be voted and should also vote.”

On the question of differences with political parties, the Commission said, “You all know that according to the law, every political party is born from registration in the Election Commission, then how can the Election Commission discriminate in those political parties? There is neither opposition nor party for the Election Commission, nor is there any equivalent, no matter what the Election Commission will be removed from its constitutional duty.”

Responding to the questions arising on the SIR, the Commission said, “For the last two decades, almost all political parties have been demanding for the improvement of errors in the voter list. SIR was started from Bihar only to meet this demand.

In the process of SIR, all voters, BLOs and all political parties nominated BLA together prepare a format list. ”

The statement issued by the Commission said, “To remove errors in the format list, once again, all voters and political parties are making their valuable contribution together in the scheduled time perimeter. For this, the time is scheduled from 1 August to 1 September in SIR of Bihar. There is still 15 days left. The doors of the Commission are still open.”

The Election Commission expressed concern that either the BLA’s verified voice is not reaching the leaders of political parties or they are trying to create confusion by ignoring the ground truth.

The Commission clearly stated that all the voters, all political parties and all the BLOs are working in a transparent manner at the grassroots level and are also giving video testimonials.

Talking about more than 7 crore Bihar voters, the Commission said that all stakeholders are making SIRs completely successful. When all the voters are standing with us, no question mark can be raised on the credibility of both.

Questioning the opposition not to share errors in the voter list on time and not filing any petition in the court, the Commission said that unsuccessful attempt to mislead the public using wrong words like vote theft is an insult to the Constitution of India.

The Commission also replied about the machine redeeble voter list, “The Supreme Court has said in 2019 that it can be a violation of the voter’s privacy.

We saw a few days ago that the photos of many voters were used to the media without their permission. ” Meanwhile, the Commission asked, “Should we share CCTV footage of any voter including their mothers, daughters -in -law, daughters?”

Regarding the allegations of ‘vote theft’, the Commission said, “The one who is named in the voter list casts votes to its selected candidate. In the process of Lok Sabha elections, more than 1 crore employees, more than 10 lakh BLAs and more than 20 lakh candidates work polling agents.

How can any voter to steal the vote in such a transparent process? Some voters were accused of double voting. There was no response on asking for evidence. Neither the Election Commission is afraid of such false allegations nor any voter. “

The statement clearly states, “When politics is being done by targeting the voters of India by placing a gun on the shoulder of the Election Commission, then we want to clarify that the Election Commission fearlessly stood like a rock, standing and standing with all the classes and religions including all the poor, rich, elderly, women and youth including any discrimination without any discrimination.”
