The Election Commission held a press conference on Sunday amid allegations of opposition’s ‘vote theft’. Chief Election Commissioner of India Dnyanesh Kumar said that the Election Commission treats all political parties equally.
RJD Rajya Sabha MP Manoj Jha expressed sharp reaction at the press conference of the Election Commission and said that we did not get any response. Somebody must have said that if a press conference should be held, they held a press conference.
No questions of the opposition were answered. Maybe someone may have asked them to hold a press conference, because what is happening was becoming shameful. So they did this, but what was achieved? What question did he really answer? Forget political parties. Voters are not convinced of your behavior and conduct.
He said that the Election Commission should change its working style and think whether it is the same Election Commission known for fairness. I clearly say that your mind is not clean. The biggest concern is that the Election Commission neither looks fair nor neutral. This should be a matter of serious concern for you.
Manoj Jha further said that if there is a lack of fairness then it is a shame for the Election Commission. If you are not complaining about your conduct and behavior, then you know what you are doing.
Regarding the ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ of Lok Sabha Leader of Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi Bihar, Manoj Jha said that it has started from Sasaram. People will fight and win for their rights. You can’t do anything.
