Gift Orban (23) only left Olympique Lyonnais in January, putting an end to a brief and difficult spell in France. However, just over six months later, he is now set to return, according to a report from Market football.
The Nigerian struggled to make an impression at Lyon. With the club needing to raise funds, the centre-forward was an obvious candidate for a departure, and by the time he did leave, in January, he was already completely out of the picture at the Groupama Stadium.
Having joined Hoffenheim in a €9m deal, Orban looked to be returning to his best, netting four goals in his first six games in the Bundesliga, however, his form tailed off. By the end of the season, he was once again playing a more peripheral role.
Hoffenheim are looking to offload Orban. An agreement has now been found with Toulouse FC, who are set to welcome the forward on loan with a buy option.
