CP Radhakrishnan is the owner of crores, but he has no car. CP Radhakrishnan’s political career
CP Radhakrishnan was born on 20 October 1957 in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu. Krishnan has been a senior BJP leader and is currently the Governor of Maharashtra. Radhakrishnan has been associated with RSS and started his political career with Jana Sangh. He was elected Lok Sabha MP from Coimbatore in 1998 and 1999. He served as the state president of Tamil Nadu BJP from 2003 to 2006.
He took out a 93-day Rath Yatra during 2004-2007 as Tamil Nadu BJP President. The purpose of this visit was to connect rivers, spread awareness against terrorism and eradicate untouchability. He was also the chairman of the standing committee on the textile industry in Parliament. Apart from this, he played an important role in committees to many financial and public undertakings.
Radhakrishnan (CP Radhakrishnan) was the Governor of Jharkhand from February 2023 to July 2024 and took over the additional charge of Telangana from March to July 2024. During this, Radhakrishnan had an additional charge of the Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry from March to August 2024. He has been working as the Governor of Maharashtra since 31 July 2024.
