There is big news for the youth looking for a job. Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has invited applications for recruitment to apprenticeship posts in various states of the country. Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria for this recruitment can apply through online mode till 15 September 2025. The application form can be filled out by visiting the official website of IOCL iocl.com or by visiting the apprenticeship portal.

Eligibility and Criteria for Recruitment

To apply for apprenticeship posts, the candidate should have passed 10+2 with ITI / NCVT Certificate / 3-year Polytechnic Engineering Diploma in the relevant branch / Graduation in Arts, Science, Commerce / 10+2 (Intermediate). Along with this, the minimum age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years, and the maximum age should not be more than 24 years. The age will be calculated keeping in view 31 July 2025. Candidates coming from the reserved category will be given relaxation in the upper age limit as per the rules.

Important documents for the application

Candidates have to upload documents along with the application. Some important documents are a scanned photo and signature, class 10th mark sheet (for date of birth), class 12th mark sheet, ITI/Diploma/Degree certificate and mark sheet, caste certificate (if applicable), disability certificate (if applicable), Aadhaar card, and PAN card.

How will the selection be done?

In this recruitment, the selection will be shortlisted on the basis of educational qualifications. In this recruitment, candidates will be placed on an apprenticeship for one year i.e., 12 months.

According to the notification, appointments will be made on 179 posts in Maharashtra, 69 posts in Gujarat, 69 posts in Madhya Pradesh, 22 posts in Goa, 22 posts in Chhattisgarh, 22 posts in Dadra and Nagar Haveli and 22 posts in Daman and Diu.
