Samsung officially launched the Galaxy Buds 3 FE on August 18, 2025, with a more refined design, AI features, and better performance in their Fan Edition portfolio, at a much better price point.
Launch & Availability
The earbuds were launched globally on August 18, 2025, and will be available in the US on September 4, 2025, for $149.99 (around ₹13,000) on Samsung.com, Samsung Experience Stores and select retailers. Other regions will be launched later in a phased approach such as September 19 in Malaysia, .Design & Build Samsung has moved away from their older “bean” shape to a more contemporary stem shape, kind of resembling the older Apple AirPods.

The buds are finished in a matte dual-tone finish with semi-transparent accents. Controls are simple: pinch to select, swipe to increase/decrease volume, or use the pairing button found in the case to connect to Galaxy devices quickly.
Audio & Battery Performance
The sound quality has improved due to the larger speaker driver, which enables the buds to deliver deeper bass and crisper treble. Improved Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) also enhances immersion for the user and features AI-powered “Crystal Clear Call” technology, designed to make voices stand out on calls, even in loud environments.

Battery life is competitive as well: with ANC on, it lasts roughly 6 hours of playback, or 24 hours with the case. With ANC off, playback increases to as much as 8.5 hours (approximately 30 hours with the case).
Talk time is approximately 4 hours before a charge is necessary, or maybe 18 hours with the case. Galaxy AI & Smart Features. One of the best features is the integration with Galaxy AI.
Users can activate it with a long press and also by saying “Hey Google,” allowing them to access both Galaxy AI and Google Gemini to complete a range of tasks, such as checking their schedule, managing playback, and providing real-time translation. As a bonus, the Galaxy AI Interpreter app enables users to translate conversations, lectures, or any spoken dialogue in real-time, allowing these earbuds to do much more than just act as an audio device.
Ecosystem Benefits
The Buds 3 FE connect effortlessly to the Galaxy ecosystem. Users enjoy seamless switching of audio playback between Galaxy devices (from tablet to phone or from watch to laptop). The Buds 3 FE Package also comes equipped with Find My Earbuds, which track the headset through Samsung‘s suite of device tracking tools. The Ambient Sound Mode keeps the user engaged with the world around them, while voice isolation provides crisp and clear calls.
Pricing and Value
With a price of $149.99, the Buds 3 FE are an accessible and feature-rich choice. In the UK, we expect pricing to be around £110, while in Australia, it should be around AU$230. We cannot confirm the pricing in India. Samsung also offers a $30 trade-in discount when customers trade in any wired or wireless headset.
Why They Surpass
The Galaxy Buds 3 FE offer a modern continuation of usable design, upgraded sound, battery life, and AI features and capabilities. Hence, it’s fair to say that in the mid-tier, it is tough to beat the Galaxy Buds 3 FE. The live translate feature, the seamless Galaxy device eco-system deployment, and smart AI controls will take them above the competition for the same price.
