The conclusion of Heartstopper is approaching, with a forthcoming film set to conclude Charlie Spring's (Joe Locke) and Nick Nelson's (Kit Connor) tale once and for all.
Entitled Heartstopper Forever, the film continues from where the Netflix series concluded. At the end of Season 3, viewers rejoiced as the couple elevated their relationship following three seasons of character development.
"The movie will be an exploration of time, memory, love, pain, the changing of the seasons, endings and beginnings, and the core element of Heartstopper: the ordinary magic of our everyday lives," Alice Oseman, whose graphic novels the series and film are based on, told Netflix's Tudum.
Nevertheless, there will be a surprise awaiting devotees of the film, as Oseman hinted that Heartstopper's grand finale will deviate from the source material, reports the Mirror.

No release date has yet been revealed for Heartstopper Forever, though it is anticipated to arrive in 2026.
During a recent Q&A, Oseman revealed: "We've just finished shooting the movie. It's based on Volume 6, it's also based on the Nick and Charlie novella.
"It's been very difficult to implement the events of the novella in Volume 6. In the film, I have found a different way to approach this problem and so there is a point in the movie where we slightly diverge from the events of Volume 6 and take a slightly different path to get to the ending, which I find really fun and exciting.
"So I think even once you read Volume 6 there will still be quite a few surprises in the movie waiting for you."
In addition to Oseman's tantalising reveal, one of the film's stars has just dropped some juicy details about one of the more risque scenes. In an interview with VMAN, Louis Partridge and Kit Connor gave fans a taste of what's to come.
Kit hinted: "I was doing rugby training today, hence all the mud and lovely stuff - my favourite thing to do," as Louis chimed in: "If it isn't rugby training, it's SEAL training. That's just amazing."
Kit went on: "Always some kind of throwing myself on the ground. We shot quite a steamy scene yesterday. So again, throwing myself on the ground in a different way."
Heartstopper Forever is slated for release in 2026 though an exact date is yet to be announced
