People pairs wires from state status

Sit down and enjoy the mayorship,”, which satirized the limited rights of the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir.

What is the current status of Jammu and Kashmir?
Let us know that in August 2019, the BJP government at the Center had removed Article 370 and abolished the special state status of Jammu and Kashmir and divided it into two union territories Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. There is no assembly in Ladakh yet, but there is assembly in Jammu and Kashmir and recently elections were held, in which Omar Abdullah’s party National Conference won.

Promise and speculation to restore state status
The government had earlier said that state status will be restored when the time comes. This issue has also been heard in the Supreme Court and from there, the government was asked to decide the deadline in this direction. However, so far no fixed date or announcement has been made by the Center to restore state status.

This post of Omar Abdullah is definitely going to create a stir, but he has not said anything openly. Therefore, it is just speculation that it can be a sign to the restoration of state status or any other political developments are coming.
