In which the youth have to be given practical experience along with studies. Its objective is that students should also gain information related to the industry, along with classroom studies. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the youth about this scheme.

And a large number of applications have also come. The selected candidates will get a chance to work in a professional environment. This scheme helps in giving a strong direction to their career and increasing the chances of jobs. So far 82 thousand applications have been given. Out of which 24 applications have been accepted. How to apply in PM Internship Yojana?

The Government of India has started the PM Internship Scheme so that the youth can gain practical experience along with studies. A large number of applications have been received in this scheme and the selected candidates will get an opportunity to do internship in companies and institutions. This will increase the confidence of students and graduates and will give the right direction to the career.

The process of applying in this scheme is also very easy. To apply, one has to register by visiting its official portal pminternship.mca.gov.in. After registration, complete the profile and then login and apply for internship.

So many people have sent applications so far

In the first round of PM Internship Scheme started in October 2024, 280 companies participated and more than 1.27 lakh internship opportunities were released. In this, 6.21 lakh applications came from 1.81 lakh candidates and companies gave more than 82 thousand offers. However, in the end only 8700 youth started internship. After this, the second round took place in January 2025 in which 327 companies participated and offered more than 1.18 lakh internships.

This time 2.14 lakh candidates had sent 4.55 lakh applications. Out of which 24 thousand youth joined the internship after accepting the offer. According to the data, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh were the top states in terms of internship offers.
