Delhi School Education Act 2025: Delhi School Education (Transparency in Fee Determination and Regulation) Act, 2025 has been approved. Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has given his approval on this. After this, the government has notified it. This law has been implemented in the capital. The bill was passed on August 8 in the Delhi Assembly. This law has established a strong, transparent and participating fee regulation system in schools. This bill makes parents, teachers, managers and school level fees represented by the government necessary.
Now prior permission is needed regarding any increase in fees. This bill will provide multi -level grievance redressal. With this, for the disputed fee, punitive action will be banned against the students. The fixed fees of the approved remained unchanged for three years. This will reduce the financial burden on parents.
Important things of education law
Arbitrary fees are not going to be charged. No school will be able to charge more than the fixed fees. Fees committee will be formed in every school. It will include management, teachers, guardians, women and deprived people. In this way, everyone will participate in fixing the fees. With this, the Grievance Redressal Committee was formed in the district. Complaints and disputes to fees will be resolved immediately under the chairmanship of senior education officers. A high -level revision committee will be formed. It will investigate on district level decisions. There will be no partiality in this way.
Complete information about fees will have to be kept in front
Schools will have to keep complete information about the fees. The details of the approved fees have to be displayed openly in the notice board, website and the language of Hindi, English and school. The fees will remain stable for three years. The fee fixed once is going to remain for three academic years. There will be no increase in fees repeatedly. During this time, a strict penalty will be imposed on the violation. There will be heavy financial penalty on schools taking more or illegal fees.
