Patna. The Bihar government has taken a commendable step for the convenience of students and common citizens. Now the facility of making Aadhaar cards and improvement in the state government schools will be provided. This will give a lot of relief to those students whose Aadhaar card is not yet made or whose documents have errors.
Aadhaar service centers will open in schools for the first time
On the initiative of the Education Department, Aadhaar Seva Kendras will be established in two schools in each block of the state. These centers will be opened in 1,068 schools in the first phase. For this, schools are being identified where facilities like electricity, internet and adequate rooms are already present.
Agency selection process starts
The responsibility of operating these Aadhaar centers will be given to a selected agency, for which the tender has been issued. After the selection of the agency, the Aadhaar Seva Kendras will be completely operational within 60 days. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) will also provide necessary training to the employees of these agencies so that the process is transparent and imperfect.
Benefits common people with children
The Aadhaar Seva Kendras built in these schools will be not only for the students, but the common citizens will also be able to make a new Aadhaar card from here or will be able to improve their existing cards.
Government will give Rs 50 per card
The Education Department will pay Rs 50 to the agency for each Aadhaar card. The entire infrastructure of Aadhaar centers such as computers, biometric equipment etc. agencies will provide itself.
