Hollywood icon Angelina Jolie is reportedly preparing to move out of the United States once her youngest children turn 18. According to People, the actress is considering “several locations abroad” as she looks to put her Los Angeles estate on the market.
Jolie bought the historic Cecil B. DeMille mansion in Los Feliz back in 2017 for a reported $24.5 million. The 11,000-square-foot property boasts six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, but sources suggest she is ready to let it go as part of her long-term relocation plans.
“I never wanted to live in L.A. full time,” she said. “That humanity I found across the world is not what I grew up with here.”
Now that Jolie and Pitt’s divorce was finalized in December, the actress is no longer tied to Los Angeles. She reportedly intends to move abroad once her youngest twins, Knox and Vivienne, turn 18 next year. The former couple share six children in total.

Why Jolie Stayed in Los Angeles
The actress has long hinted that living in Los Angeles was never her preference. In an earlier conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, she admitted she was based in the city only because of her divorce and custody arrangements with former husband Brad Pitt.“I never wanted to live in L.A. full time,” she said. “That humanity I found across the world is not what I grew up with here.”
