Rylan Clark made his grand return to This Morningon Thursday (August 21) however viewers were left rather distracted by his appearance.

During the latest episode of theITV hit chat show, Rylan, 36, took on hosting duties alongsideSian Welby as regular hostsCat Deeley andBen Shephard take a break for summer.

The duo opened the show with a dance, while wearing matching double denim outfits. The pair then shared a sweet as they gave each other a hug.

Rylan turned to his co-star and asked: “How are you babes?” Sian replied: “So good, it’s nice to see you.” Addressing their height difference, Sian asked: “Have you got taller or are you wearing some Cuban heels?”

Rylan confirmed: “No I’m in a flat trainer so I’m not sure how that has happened.” Turning attention back to the show, Sian said: “Hello and welcome, It’s nice to see you.”

The star continued: “It’s Thursday, we’re going to have a great show today and Rylan is back everybody.”

Rylan was greeted with a round of applause as he joked: “Thank you. It’s like jury duty, they just call you up and here I am.”

Sian then pointed out: “You’re acting a little bit different, are you a BAFTA award winner?” Rylan revealed: “Yes I am. I don’t like bringing it up but as a BAFTA winner we have a great show coming up and it’ll be a good day.”

Viewers watching at home couldn’t help but point out Rylan was looking rather different as he was wearing glasses and they wasted no time sharing their reaction online.

One fan wrote: “Rylan's back but loose those glasses darling #thismorning.” Another claimed: “Rylan looks different wearing glasses #thismorning.

Referring to anotherThis Morning host Emma Willis, a third joked: “Rylan wearing Emma’s glasses #thismorning.”

Meanwhile a number of fans were pleased to see Rylan and Sian presenting together as one said: “This is more like it. Rylan and Sian #ThisMorning.” Another added: “Rylan and Sian over Ben and Cat any day #thismorning.”

The presenter shake up comes as Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley stepped down from This Morning for the summer.

As well as Rylan and Sian, viewers have been joined by Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond - who have often provided cover for Ben and Cat on Fridays and in school holidays - and other relief presenters such as Joel Dommett, Emma Willis, Andi Peters, Craig Doyle and Josie Gibson.
