New Delhi. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has made it clear that there is no government plan to implement any rule like charging additional charge for more goods than railway passengers. He denied all such news. Hearing the Railway Minister, now the railway passengers are going to get a lot of relief. For the last few days, such reports were going on in which it was being said that the railway will now allow to carry goods to a limit like airlines companies. Fine will have to be paid if the goods are more than the prescribed standard. However, according to today, the Railway Minister has rejected these reports in clear terms.

Earlier, it was being claimed in the reports that passengers traveling in the first AC coach of the train would be able to carry up to 70 kg of goods with them. At the same time, for the passengers of the second AC class, there will be a freedom to carry up to 50 kg. Whereas people traveling on third AC and sleeper class tickets will be able to carry up to 40 kg of goods with them without any extra fee. At the same time, this limit was up to 35 kg for general ticket passengers. It was said that the weight of more goods would have to be paid extra money according to the recommendations.

It was also reported in the reports that the Railways has decided to start this new rule from some major stations of Lucknow and Prayagraj division under North and North Central Division. People were expressing displeasure over the news of the railway charging additional fees for goods. Currently, airlines companies charge fine from passengers when the goods are high. However, Vande has implemented the system of railway dynamic fair on the lines of airlines in some major trains like Bharat, Tejas, Shatabdi.
