Madhya Pradesh: On August 23, Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari and Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will open the biggest and most advanced flyover in Madhya Pradesh in Jabalpur. Jabalpur will have a better urban character and traffic system because of this overpass. The construction of this overpass between Madanmahal and Damoh Naka would be a significant milestone in the city’s growth.

This elevated corridor, which is 6.855 km long and cost Rs 1052 crore to build, is Madhya Pradesh’s biggest flyover. One of its unique features is the 192-meter-long single-span cable-stayed bridge that was constructed above the railroad track.
In addition, three bowstring bridges—two in Ranital and one in Baldevbagh—have been constructed. Each of these about 70-meter-long bridges is composed of steel.
This building is an excellent illustration of contemporary engineering. When building the flyover, special consideration was taken for the environment. Under it, 50,000 plants have been planted to clean up the city and cut down on pollution.
Jabalpur’s Madanmahal-Damoh Naka Flyover
A children’s park, an outdoor gym, and a basketball court have been constructed for the public underneath the overpass. In addition to serving as a traffic facility, it will develop into a hub for neighborhood events.
Additionally, ten locations have directional boards put up to facilitate mobility. Traffic will alter significantly as a result of this flyover. The trip from Madanmahal to Damoh Naka used to take 40–45 minutes, but today it just takes 6–8 minutes. This will speed up business, cut down on pollution, and save time and fuel.
