Arsenal summer signing Viktor Gyokeres responded to his doubters after dedicating a goal celebration to critics following the 5-0 win over Leeds United on Saturday. The Gunners enjoyed an emphatic win in their first home game of the new season as the Swedish talisman opened his account in north London and England's top-flight with a brace.
The arrival from Sporting CP was the focus of criticism despite Arsenal's opening day victory over Manchester United. Riccardo Calafiori scored the only goal of the game with his header in the first-half after Altay Bayindir's mistake from Declan Rice's corner.
After a goalless debut, the microscope was cast on Gyokeres' performance with many poking fun at the amount of times he touched his hair at Old Trafford.

On Saturday evening, his message was loud and clear after netting a brace.
He sent Leeds goalkeeper Lucas Perri the wrong way from the spot to add the gloss on their emphatic win and after his trademark celebration, he stared down the camera and fixed his hair.
The 27-year-old admitted that his celebration was aimed at his critics following his £64 million move from Portugal.
Presenter Dave Jones said: "You're averaging a goal a game in the Premier League, you have a couple of celebrations moving forward, Viktor.
"Because we saw the usual one then the hair has been added as well. I don't know if there's anything in this but did some people say you had more touches of your hair than the ball, has that got anything to do with that?"
Gyokeres couldn't help but give a wry smile and replied: "Er, yeah it might be."
The 27-year-old has hit form at the perfect time with Arsenal taking on Premier League champions Liverpool at Anfield, next Sunday.
The Gunners have maximum points and could inflict a dent on Arne Slot's sides title defence, who take on Newcastle United on Monday night looking to make it two wins from two.
Earlier in the interview, he said: "It's difficult, all the teams that we have played, want to challegne and make it difficult.
"We have to prepare for every game as best as possible but we have an amazing team, we train hard every day, we started off well with two wins, two clean sheets and a lot of goals.
"We're on the right path but we can improve, that's the aim."
