
New Delhi: In a major development Dream Sports the parent company of the Indian cricket team’s lead sponsor Dream11 launched a new personal finance app on Saturday. This comes after the ban on the online money gaming. Designed for the financial management the app will help users invest in Fixed Deposits (FD) and digital gold. It will also assist in tracking investments along with keeping a record of daily expenses. Currently the app is in beta testing and is available to limited users on Google Play Store and Apple App Store. India’s largest fantasy gaming company has taken this step after the Online Gaming Bill 2025 became law. Here are some of the key details: Dream Sports launched a new personal finance app on Saturday The app will help users invest in Fixed Deposits (FD) and digital gold. The app is in beta testing and is available to limited users on Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Under this law all online real-money games have been completely banned. The country’s biggest fantasy gaming platform also had to give up its sponsorship of the Indian cricket team. The new law banning online money gaming has had a direct impact on platforms like Dream11. Promoting advertising or investing in real-money gaming could lead to punishment and a fine of up to ₹1 crore. Dream11 is going to shut down its real-money gaming (RMG) business after the bill. Dream Sports shared this information with its employees during an internal townhall meeting on August 20. The company may also have to give up its sponsorship of the Indian cricket team. Dream11 now wants to strengthen its presence by entering the fintech sector. Features of Dream Money Investment in Digital Gold: Through the Dream Money app users can start a systematic investment plan (SIP) in digital gold with as little as ₹10. This option is especially useful for those who want to begin investing with small amounts. Fixed Deposits: The app also offers the option to invest in fixed deposits starting from ₹1000 even without a bank account. This means that even if you don’t have a bank account you can still put money into an FD. Expense Tracking: A special feature in the app allows users to track their daily expenses. This helps in better financial planning. Investment Tracking: Investments like stocks mutual funds and ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds) can be monitored in one place. AI Advisor: This feature analyzes your investments and provides personalized advice to help you make better financial decisions. Security: Users’ investments are covered with insurance of up to ₹5 lakh making it reliable and secure.
