2 cup maida
1 cup jaggery or sugar powder
1 cup grated coconut
½ cup cocoa powder or melted chocolate
2 tablespoons ghee
½ teaspoon cardamom powder

Know the recipe for making chocolate modak

  • First of all, heat a little ghee in a pan and add grated coconut and fry it lightly.
  • Now add jaggery/sugar powder and mix well.
  • After this, prepare the mixture by adding cocoa powder or melted chocolate to it.
  • Now add cardamom powder to this mixture and keep it to cool.
  • On the other hand, knead flour flour and make light dough.
  • Now apply some flour in the mold of modak and fill the prepared chocolate mixture in it.
  • Cover the mold by covering it with flour again.
  • Make all modaks like this and then steam and prepare them.
  • You can eat hot chocolate modak with joy with the family by offering Lord Ganesha. You can store them in the fridge and keep them for 3 days. The children will like this dessert very much and the guests will not get tired of praising your hand -made unique modaks.
