Rennes have set a new record for the shortest time it took a team to receive two red cards in a single Ligue 1 game. Habib Beye’s Red and black were facing promoted Ligue 1 side and Brittany rivals FC Lorient when both Mahdi Camara and Christopher Wooh received their marching orders from Jérôme Brisard. The former Brest midfielder saw his Rennes debut cut short after six minutes when he unintentionally kicked Lorient’s Karim Dermane in the chest.
