IIT JEE is the toughest exam in India: If you think that it is difficult to pass the exam in India, then it is true. A report has confirmed this. Online education platform 'Erudera' has released the list of the world's toughest entrance exams. Three entrance exams of India have made it to this list. These include JEE Advanced for admission to IIT and UPSC for civil services.
Let us know what the number of JEE Advanced and UPSC is in the list of the toughest entrance exams in the world. Why have they been included in the list of tough entrance exams?
Why is JEE Advanced so difficult?
According to the report of Erudera, JEE Advanced for admission in IIT is the toughest exam in India and the second toughest exam in the world. The biggest reason for this is the low success rate of it. Every year, more than 12 lakh children appear in the exam, but there are only about 11,000 seats in IITs. That is, only 1% of the children get admission.
According to the report, children have to work hard for an average of two years to prepare for this exam. This is the reason why this exam is becoming more difficult every year. Every month, about 32,000 people search it on Google.
UPSC is the second most difficult exam in India
After JEE Advanced, the UPSC Civil Services Exam has got third place in this list. This is the second most difficult exam in India. The biggest reason for this is the very low number of people who succeed in it.
According to the report, about 5 lakh students appear for its first stage, i.e., 'Prelims', but the seats are less than 1,000. The rate of passing this exam is between 0.1 and 0.4 percent. The preparation time for this takes at least one year. After passing the second stage of the exam, there is an interview in which your intelligence, knowledge, and thinking are tested. Every month, about 67,000 people search for UPSC on the internet.
GATE is also included in the top 10
India's third most difficult exam is the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), which is in 8th place in the list of the world's most difficult entrance exams. It takes an average of six months to prepare for GATE. Every year, 8 to 10 lakh children give this exam, but only 16 to 18 percent can pass it.
This exam of China is number one.
The most difficult exam in the world is China's 'Gaokao', which lasts for 9 hours, and 1 crore 20 lakh children appear in it every year. After this, England's Mensa is at number four. Apart from this, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), and California Bar Exam are also included in this list.
