The audio launch of the Sivakarthikeyan starrer ‘ Madharaasi ’ was held in Chennai. The film, directed by A.R. Murugadoss , is set to release on September 5th. The trailer received a huge response from the fans immediately after its release. Director AR Murugadoss , music composer Anirudh Ravichander, actress Rukmini Vasanth , and others attended the event along with the lead actor. Speaking at the event, Sivakarthikeyan thanked AR Murugadoss for including him in the big list through this film.
He also recalled his father's favorite film, 'Ramanaa,' helmed by AR Murugadoss, and said with emotion that if he were here today, he would have made him proud.

Actor-politician Thalapathy Vijay announced his retirement from acting, and the film ‘G.O.A.T’ featured a scene where he offers a gun to Sivakarthikeyan. The scene, which was well-received by fans, was criticized by some on social media. Explaining the incident, Sivakarthikeyan said that many people praised the scene and that Vijay acted as an encouragement to him.
