The target of adding 20% ethanol to petrol by 2030 was completed in 2025 itself. Now most of the petrol pumps of the country are getting the same fuel in which 20% ethanol is found. This petrol is called E20 petrol. New cars and bikes which are made on BS6 Phase-2 standard run properly on this new petrol. But the vehicles which are old, ie BS3 and BS4, are having a bad effect on their engine. Mileage is decreasing, sounds are coming in the engine and the car is deteriorating quickly.

Normal petrol is difficult to get now

This is not only affecting the pocket, but the health of the vehicle is also deteriorating. Ethanol is now being added to premium petrol, such as XP95 and Speed97. That is, it is no longer easy to avoid ethanol.
