
TVS recently expanded its Super Squad lineup for the Ntorq with the new Captain America edition. The Hosurbased twowheeler manufacturer has now expanded the Super Squad lineup for Raider by introducing a Deadpool and Wolverine edition of the commuter motorcycle.
As the names suggest, the latest special edition model of Raider takes inspiration from Deadpool and Wolverine, the XMen super heroes from the house of Marvel. This new variant is targeted at a young bunch of customers who are fans of Marvel, particularly of these two antihero characters.
The last time these two characters were seen in a live action stream was the movie Deadpool & Wolverine released last year where the titular characters were played by Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, respectively. The film turned out to be a major commercial success in the global box office.
TVS Raider Deadpool & Wolverine Edition: Features
Priced at Rs 99,465 (exshowroom Delhi), the new Raider Deadpool & Wolverine edition of Raider will be available across all TVS dealerships starting this month. The new TVS Raider Super Squad Edition comes packed with a suite of techled features including the iGO assist with Boost Mode for enhanced acceleration and Glide Through Technology(GTT) for seamless lowspeed manoeuvrability and enhanced fuel efficiency.
Other notable features on offer include LED headlamp and taillamp, ISG silent start system, side stand indicator with engine cutoff, and a fullyconnected reverse LCD instrument cluster with over 85 features such as Turnbyturn navigation, Call alert, Message notification, Low fuel warning, Voice assist. There are three ride modes on offer namely Eco, Power and Boost.
TVS Raider Deadpool & Wolverine Edition: Powertrain
Powering the TVS Raider Super Squad Edition is the same 124.8cc singlecylinder air/oilcooled petrol engine as the regular Raider. This engine kicks out 11.2 bhp at 7500 rpm and peak torque of 11.75 Nm at 6000 rpm. It is paired with a 5speed gearbox. As for performance, the bike can accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph in 5.8 seconds.
