Police have launched an investigation after a woman's body was discovered in the car park of a B&M store in Tottenham. Officers found the body while patrolling the High Road area shortly after 6.30am on Monday.
Scotland Yard confirmed the death is being treated as "unexpected" and said enquiries are ongoing. A blue evidence tent was set up in the car park, and no arrests have been made. Much of the surrounding area was cordoned off while officers investigated.
Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact the police.
A Met spokesperson said: "Police patrolling the High Road area, Tottenham, discovered a deceased woman at 06:31 on Sunday, 24 August.
"Her death is being treated as unexpected at this time. Enquiries are ongoing, and a crime scene remains in place.
"Witnesses or anyone with information should contact police by calling 101 or post on X '@MetCC' quoting CAD 1721/24Aug."
