About 10 percent of the women conduct checks here, while the figures in Assam are very worried, stating that only 0.5 percent of women in Assam get screening done. Most of the use of mammography has been recorded in Kerala and Karnataka. It was recorded at 4.5 per cent in Kerala and 2.9 per cent in Karnataka, while Nagaland was the lowest zero per cent in Andhra Pradesh with 0.1 per cent and Uttarakhand with 0.27 per cent.
