
New Delhi: Rajat Patidar played three Test matches during Englands tour of India (2023/24). He scored 63 runs in these three Tests averaging 10.50. He was dropped before the series ended and has not played for India since then. History-making achievement in IPL However Patidar created history in 2025. He became the first player to lead Royal Challengers Bengaluru to the IPL title. This achievement is considered the biggest milestone of his career. In October 2024 he also scored the fifth-fastest century in Ranji Trophy history off just 68 balls. On the first day of this match Central Zone scored 432-2 in 77 overs. Malewar remained unbeaten on 198* (219 balls 35 fours 1 six) and Yash Rathod on 32. Meanwhile in the second quarter-final North Zone scored 308-6 against East Zone.
