Benelli has increased the price of the 502X adventure motorcycle in India. The Benelli 502X saw an update earlier this year and saw a price hike of Rs 35,000 over the model it replaced. The motorcycle did see a few changes, but now, Benelli has announced another price hike — Rs 10,000.
The hike in price has brought up the exshowroom price of the 2025 Benelli TRK 502X to Rs 6.80 lakh, while the roadfocused version of the motorcycle, the TRK 502, does not see any changes to its price.
2025 Benelli TRK 502X: What were the changes?
Earlier this year, when Benelli updated the TRK 502 range, the motorcycle got a new fiveinch TFT instrument console that brought along a host of added features such as offline maps, smartphone connectivity, screen mirroring, and a trackback functionality.
The motorcycle also saw the addition of a tyre pressure monitoring system, a revised swing arm, the addition of a slipper clutch, hand guards, an engine guard, and heated grips. Another big addon was the tubeless spoke wheels for the 502X.
2025 Benelli TRK 502X: Bits that did not change
Benelli retained the overall styling and the cycling parts, such as the USD front forks, monoshock at the rear, disc brakes at both ends with dualchannel ABS, LED lighting, and the massive 20litre fuel tank that offers long distance touring capability.
The engine also remains unchanged, and the Benelli TRK 502X is powered by a 500cc, twincylinder liquidcooled engine. The engine makes a healthy 46.9bhp and 46Nm of peak torque with the help of a sixspeed gearbox. Benelli does not offer a quickshifter with the motorcycle, although it would be a good add on.
In terms of competition, there are no direct rivals; however, for those seeking an adventure motorcycle with offroad capabilities, alternate choices would be the Royal Enfield Himalayan, the new KTM 390 Adventure, the Honda NX 500, and even the Moto Morini XCape.
The Honda Transalp 750 will sit in a segment above, while the Kawasaki Versys 650 is more roadfocused compared to the Benelli TRK 502X. The Japanese motorcycle competes with the road version of the TRK, while also being more powerful in terms of engine specifications.
