A renowned British travel vlogger who has spent years exploring several destinations across the globe has revealed the three European cities he considers the most overrated.

Content creator Harry Jaggard, boasting more than 2.56 million YouTube subscribers, has disclosed his least favoured European destinations in what can be considered a controversial video uploaded to his channel - @harryjaggardtravel.

Harry, who brands himself as a "professional idiot completing side missions", has journeyed throughout the world - seeking out locations that provide distinctive adventures whilst immersing himself in different cultures.

Publishing headline-grabbing videos with titles such as 'First Tourist in North Korea's Capital After 5 Years', 'I Rented a Japanese Girlfriend in Tokyo', and '7 Days in the Most Dangerous Country in the World' among others - Harry's expeditions typically offer valuable perspectives for those eager to discover the world.

Now, in a YouTube short uploaded on August 18, Harry has disclosed his three least favourite European cities - and all of the names on the list might surprise you.

"Least favourite, or most overrated, I'd say - Paris for sure. Like, it's just so expensive. The locals are not friendly. I just think it's super overrated," declares the prominent YouTuber.

Paris, often referred to as the City of Love, is a wildly popular tourist destination. The European capital of France stands as a recognised global hub for art, fashion, fine dining, and culture.

Boasting internationally renowned landmarks including the Eiffel Tower and the 12th-century Gothic Notre-Dame Cathedral, Paris attracts visitors throughout the year - which likely explains its disappointing position on Harry's rankings.

Another shocking entry amongst the least favoured European destinations is London. Harry explains: "London, although you know, everyone goes there, it's one of the most visited cities in the world - but, I just don't think it's that great. It doesn't reflect... it doesn't show the real culture of England."

The capital (and largest metropolis) of England and the UK houses roughly 9,841,000 residents as of 2025. London sits along the River Thames in England's southeastern region and represents Europe's most economically dominant city, whilst also ranking amongst the globe's premier financial hubs.

Internationally, London exerts considerable influence on the worlds of art, finance, commerce, fashion, education, tourism, entertainment, and media. It's home to several of the world's leading academic institutions, along with being the city boasting of the world's oldest rapid transit system - the London Underground.

It is undoubtedly the most-visited city in Europe and has the world's busiest city airport system, perhaps leading to its deplorable ranking on the YouTubers list.

Next on the seasoned traveller's list of European cities he's least impressed with is the tourist-favourite city of Rome.

He explains: "I would go with Rome - like these are the typical tourist spots. When you go to Rome, all you're going to see is just Americans with big cameras taking pictures of the Colosseum."

Harry adds: "It also doesn't reflect the Italian culture, I think."

Rome, Italy's bustling capital city, is home to the Vatican City - the smallest country in the world and the headquarters of the worldwide Catholic Church. Known as the Eternal City or the City of Seven Hills, Rome boasts historical landmarks such as the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain - another tourist hotspot, and the Pantheon.

However, as pointed out by Harry, these sites attract hordes of tourists throughout the year, making the city somewhat unattractive to those hoping for a quiet and serene time while on holiday.

In the same YouTube video, Harry also reveals his three favourite European destinations, namely Krakow in Poland, Milos in Greece, and Hvar in Croatia.
