Yoga guru Baba Ramdev has expressed strong opposition against the tariff imposed on India by America. He says that this is not only a business pressure, but an example of political terrorism and dictatorship. He predicted that America would have to withdraw this decision, because India is not inferior to any other country.

According to Ramdev, self -reliance is not only an economic policy, but also a cultural heritage.

Reacting to the statement of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Baba Ramdev said that unlimited population is harmful to any country. He said that land and resources are limited, so prudent population control is necessary in all classes. Ramdev described it as not only a political or religious issue, but a subject of national interest.
