Asia cup 2025: The Asia Cup 2025 is going to start from September 9, 2025, which is going to be like a celebration for cricket lovers. The tournament, organized by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), has been the biggest platform of the Asian Cricket Supreme since its debut in 1983. Now in its 17th edition, the Asia Cup 2025, is a practice for some major Asian teams for the T20 World Cup 2026.
Where will the match be played?
The tournament of this year will be jointly held in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with 11 matches including the finals at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, and the remaining eight matches will be played at Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Zaid Cricket Stadium.
Other teams compete with India
India has been placed with Pakistan, UAE and Oman in Group A of the tournament. They will start their campaign against UAE on September 10, followed by the arch -rivals Pakistan on 14 September. India’s last group match will be against Oman on 19 September. Two teams from each group will qualify for the next Super Fore, where each team will face each other once in the round-robin phase. If both teams reach the Super Fore, there may be another match between India and Pakistan on September 21, and if both teams qualify for the final, then there may be another match.

India announced its team for the tournament earlier this month, in which Suryakumar Yadav will take charge of the team. Test captain Shubman Gill will be his vice-captain, while players like Shreyas Iyer and Yashasvi Jaiswal have not been able to make a place in the 15-member team.
