Delhi Kalakaji Temple Murder Case: Delhi Police has arrested 5 accused in the Delhi Kalkaji temple murder case. The accused beat up the sevadar of the Kalkaji temple by beating him only because he was delayed in giving prasad and sardine. After this, Sevadar was beaten to death by the accused in a temple filled with devotees.
The investigation was started by the Delhi Police after the incident. The Delhi Police took quick action and arrested two accused. After this, the police arrested three more accused. Now five people have been arrested in this case. Many accused in the case are still absconding.
First of all understand what is the whole matter?
In fact, some devotees reached the temple at around 9 pm last Thursday and asked Yogendra to give ‘Chunni Prasad’. Chunni Prasad means Chunari to cover the head and Prasad with him. The crowd was more, so Yogendra asked him to wait a few minutes. The dispute started from here. 10 to 15 people were enraged together. He brought iron rods and poles and started beating Yogendra. The fight was so ruthless that Yogendra fell on the ground. In spite of falling, three-four people were throwing poles on him. The entire incident has been captured in the CCTV, on the basis of which investigation is being done.
To be taken to the hospital, but not saved
Yogendra was immediately taken to the AIIMS Trauma Center after a heavy injury. The doctors tried hard, but died during treatment. Police received PCR call at around 9:30 pm. The matter was serious, so the team arrived immediately. Investigation revealed that the attack was carried out by 10–15 people together. The police have registered a case under sections 103 and 3 (5) of the Indian Justice Code. One accused- 30-year-old Atul Pandey, who hails from Dakshinpuri, was caught on the spot and handed over to the police. The search for the rest of the absconding accused is going on.
Of Uttar Pradesh Was resident of Hardoi
Yogendra Singh was originally from Fatehpur village in Hardoi district of UP. He came to Delhi about 14–15 years ago and was serving in the Kalkaji temple since then. Fellow sevadar says that he was a very calm person and always worked with a smile.
