Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IPU) has started preparations for admission in the BSc-MSc Dual Degree Program, under which admission in this dual degree program will be based on counseling. 120 seats for BSc-MSc Dual Degree Program
The BSc-MSc Dual Degree Program is conducted by IPU's School of Basic and Applied Sciences (USBAS). A total of 120 seats are available in this program, in which 40 40 seats are reserved in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects. This 5-year course is considered an integrated option of higher education for students wishing to make a career in the field of science.
According to Prof. Anidhya Dutta, Dean of USBAS, this program is extremely beneficial for the students as it provides an opportunity for in-depth study and research of science.
Counselling will be offline.
IPU has announced admission in the BSc-MSc dual degree program on the basis of counselling. IPU is going to conduct counselling from September 3 for admission. This counselling will be conducted offline. IPU said that a large number of students are expected to participate in the offline counselling to be held in the main campus.
What to do to participate in counselling
According to the information shared by IPU, one can participate in the counselling to be held for admission in the BSc-MSc dual degree program only after registration. New students can also register. For this, one has to go to the official website of IPU and fill out the Google form. On the other hand, students who have already applied can directly participate in offline counseling.
How to get admission
According to the information shared by IPU, admission in the BSc-MSc dual degree program will be given on the basis of 12th marksheet, JEE Main Paper-1, CET, and CUET score. To participate in counseling, IPU has asked all the students to bring a bank draft of one lakh seven thousand rupees in the name of the university registrar and the necessary documents.
