The highly anticipated Bigg Boss Telugu 9 is all set to premiere today (September 7) at 7 PM. With Nagarjuna as host, the season is raising the stakes with its innovative dual house format . This season, commoners will compete with celebrities for the trophy.

The latest promo is setting social media ablaze, hinting at a powerful grand launch. The promo opens with the magical entrance of host Nagarjuna in a black tuxedo, accompanied by a golden snake sculpture. He introduces the season as full of unexpected changes and unpredictable twists.

Host Nagarjuna engaged in playful conversations with the top 13 contestants of the Bigg Boss pre-show “Agnipariksha (Trial by fire)”. While the list of both commoner and celebrity contestants is discreet, the promo raises expectations for a spectacular launch.

The promo gave a glimpse of the two houses for the season. The video also shows a female celebrity contestant saying, “The picture is yet to start,” and a male celebrity contestant requesting Bigg Boss to take a small red box with him, which Bigg Boss disagreed with, leading the contestant to leave the stage.

With the season’s “Ranarangam” theme and the promo’s caption “Commoners with raw fire vs celebrities with star power, double surprises, double entertainment, double the dose of Bigg Boss”, the season is expected to be a fiery battle with a celebrities vs commoners concept.

Describing the second house as outstanding, host Nagarjuna says, “Oka illu aithe aata chadarangam ayyindhi, rendo illu tho ranarangam aiyyindhi” (The game is a chess play with one house; it became a battlefield with the second house).

With a double house concept, doubling the dose of entertainment, surprises, drama, and competition, the Bigg Boss Telugu 9 is set to launch tonight at 7 PM, only on Star Maa . The launch is also streamed live exclusively on JioHotstar.
