
Rain warning in Gujarat
Tomorrow’s season: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has informed that till September 8, the process of heavy rains will continue in Gujarat.
There is a possibility of heavy rains in various regions of Gujarat on 8 September, Whereas There is a possibility of extremely heavy rains on 8 and 9 September in Saurashtra and Kutch. A new seasonal system became a threat
According to the Meteorological Department, the low pressure area over Madhya Pradesh has now been converted to ‘Well Mark Low’ (WML). This mechanism is currently active over Madhya Pradesh and Eastern Rajasthan.
In the next 48 hours, it may become more powerful and focused as a Awadab region in southern Rajasthan and northern Gujarat by the morning of 8 September, causing heavy rains in these areas.
Heavy rain alert in Rajasthan
The Meteorological Department has issued warnings of heavy to extremely heavy rain for the next 3-4 days in Udaipur, Kota and Jodhpur divisions of Rajasthan. There is a possibility of very heavy rainfall in some areas of Udaipur division.
Apart from this, Bharatpur, Jaipur and Bikaner divisions may also receive moderate to strong rains. People have been advised to be ready for a situation like water logging and floods.
Rain havoc in Punjab, Haryana and Uttarakhand
According to the Meteorological Department, Uttarakhand may receive heavy rainfall at many places from September 8 to 9. There is a possibility of rain in Punjab on September 10 and Haryana-Chandigarh from 5, 8 to 10 September.
Eastern Uttar Pradesh may receive strong rains at some places on 9 September. Alert of very heavy rainfall has been issued on 8 and 9 September in western Rajasthan.
Warning of rain in Madhya Pradesh and other states
There is a possibility of heavy rains in many places in West Madhya Pradesh till 6 September. The Andaman and Nicobar Islands may receive rain on 6 and 7 September. There is a possibility of heavy rains in West Bengal and Sikkim from 8 to 10 September, while in Bihar between 8 to 10 September.
Fear of heavy rains in Northeast India
According to the Meteorological Department, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura may receive heavy rains at several places on September 8 and 9. The process of rain will continue in Arunachal Pradesh from 6 to 10 September. There is also a possibility of thunderstorms and lightning to fall in the entire Northeast India in the next 7 days.
