
Fatal Collision in Chamrajnagar
A tragic incident occurred in Chamrajnagar when a scooter collided with a truck and a car traveling in opposite directions, resulting in the deaths of three boys and leaving another severely injured, as reported by police officials on Sunday.
The four boys were riding their scooter on the Ring Road near Galipura on Saturday night, which is situated on the national highway connecting Karivaradhra Hill.
The deceased have been identified as Mehran (13), Adnan Pasha (9), both from the Galipura area, and Ryan (8) from KP Mohalla in Chamrajnagar.
According to police, Faisal (11), who was also on the scooter, is in critical condition and fighting for his life.
A police spokesperson mentioned that the scooter became trapped between a car heading towards Tamil Nadu and a truck coming from Chamrajnagar.
The impact of the collision completely wrecked the scooter. Mehran died at the scene, while the others were rushed to SIMS Hospital and later transferred to a private facility in Mysuru.
Despite extensive efforts, the lives of the two other boys could not be saved. Two individuals in the car sustained minor injuries. Authorities have filed cases against the drivers of both the car and the truck, and an investigation is underway.
