Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released vacancies for a total of 1253 posts of Assistant Professor under the Government Degree College Examination-2025. Interested candidates for these posts can apply till 6 October by visiting the official website of the commission uppsc.up.nic.in. UPPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2025: Who can apply?
The candidate applying should have a master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks in the relevant subject. Also, the candidate should have passed the National Eligibility Test conducted by UGC or CSIR, and alternatively, a PhD degree is also valid as per UGC Regulations, 2009 or 2016.

At the same time, the age of the applicant should be between 21 and 40 years. Candidates of the reserved category have also been given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per the rules of the government. Age will be calculated from 1 July 2025.
