What happened to Sathyans financial status? According to MSN Sathyan was once extremely wealthy. His father Madhampatti Sivakumar was a rich landlord who owned more than 500 acres of land. Their luxurious bungalow alone was spread across 5 acres. His family enjoyed the status of royalty in their region. Everything was going well until Sathyans father developed a strong interest in cinema this thing eventually cost him too much. Initially he provided financial support to his relatives and well-known actors Sathyaraj and Markandeyan Sivakumar. Later he decided to produce films himself. He launched his son Sathyan as a hero in his first production Ilaiyavan. Unfortunately the film was a major flop leading to a severe financial setback. After this Sathyan’s father passed away and the situation worsened even further. Eventually Sathyan had to sell his luxurious bungalow in Madhampatti. It is said that today Sathyan has no property left.
