An Pravesh Verma, an MLA from New Delhi assembly constituency and minister in the Delhi government, on Friday launched 1000 CCTV cameras in his constituency. During this, Minister Pravesh Verma announced that 8000 CCTV cameras will be installed in New Delhi assembly constituency. He said that 5000 new rooms will be installed in our assembly. Whatever RWA will tell us where the cameras are installed and the police will tell these rooms in those places.
Pravesh Verma said that about 7 crore cameras will be installed in this entire assembly. He said that wherever the demand for cameras will come, cameras will be installed everywhere. These cameras will have a SIM card, which can be seen 24 hours. RWA, PWD, and Delhi Police will have access to it. The minister said that this big step has been taken regarding the safety of our mother and sisters.
