England opener batsman Phil Salt Has scored an amazing T20 century against South Africa, in which he achieved this feat in just 39 balls. This brilliant innings was played in Manchester on Friday night.
Salt played an unbeaten innings of 141 runs in 60 balls with the help of 8 sixes and 15 fours, making him the fastest T20 century batsman for England.
Record breaking achievement
Phil Salat broke Liam Livingstone’s record in the case, who scored a century in 42 balls against Pakistan in Nottingham in 2021.
This is the biggest innings played by an England batsman in T20 international cricket. Salt already has 119 runs against the West Indies in 2023.

In this match played at Old Trafford, England scored 304 for 2 wickets. Apart from Salt, Jose Butler scored 83 runs in 30 balls, including 7 sixes and 8 fours.
