DSSSB Opens Applications for Assistant Teacher Roles
The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has commenced the application process for the role of Assistant Teacher. Aspiring educators can now submit their applications for the DSSSB Primary Teacher 2025 recruitment, which is officially open today. A total of 1,180 Assistant Teacher vacancies are available, with 1,055 positions allocated for the Directorate of Education and 125 for the New Delhi Municipal Council. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply through the official website by October 16th at 11:59 PM.
Educational Requirements
To qualify for the Assistant Teacher roles, applicants must have completed Class 12 with at least 50% marks. Additionally, candidates should hold a JBT, D.El.Ed., or B.Ed. degree or an equivalent qualification. It is also mandatory for candidates to have studied Hindi in Class 10.
Age Criteria
Applicants should not exceed 30 years of age. However, age relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to specific categories. SC and ST candidates are eligible for a five-year age relaxation, OBC candidates for three years, and candidates with disabilities can avail a ten-year age relaxation.
Salary Details
Selected candidates will earn a monthly salary ranging from ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400. The selection process will include a written examination comprising 200 multiple-choice questions, each worth one mark, covering topics such as general awareness, English, reasoning, and mathematics. The duration of the exam will be two hours.
