The history of Mahalakshmi Mata Temple located in Deulgaon (Valsa) village of Darwha tehsil of Buldhana district is about 207 years old. Earlier this region was surrounded by dense forests and hills, and the goddess was seated between these hills. It was here that Tulzabai first saw the goddess. After this, she went there every day and started offering prayers. Tulzabai had direct visions of Vyaghrangi and Mahalakshmi Mata.

Later, the goddess enshrined on the mountain. Since then, the goddess is seated at the same place. There is immense faith in the goddess of devotees.
