. The monsoon has weakened in Bihar as well. No rain was recorded anywhere in the state on Sunday. Uttarakhand is currently experiencing clear and sunny weather. With temperatures rising on Sunday, people are beginning to feel the heat. These days, people in Delhi-NCR are facing the brunt of the heat.
These days, people in Delhi-NCR are facing the brunt of “fire raining from the sky” and “sticky humidity.” Strong winds blew at speeds of around 33 kilometers per hour on Sunday, providing some relief. However, the weather is set to change again. A scorching heat wave is expected from Monday. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has released its latest forecast, predicting that the maximum temperature in many areas of Delhi-NCR could reach 36 degrees Celsius on Monday. In other districts, the mercury will hover between 34 and 35 degrees Celsius. Consequently, people will face a “double attack”: heat and humidity. Currently, there is no forecast for rain for the next five days, meaning the wait for relief may be even longer.
Hot winds will increase difficulties in Uttar Pradesh
. The rainy season has now ended in Uttar Pradesh. The weather appears to be completely changed from September 22nd. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the heat will increase in most districts of the state and the maximum temperature will rise rapidly. On both September 22nd and 23rd, strong sunlight and hot winds will increase the difficulties of the people. Currently, 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh have come in the ‘green zone’. This means that there will be no rain anywhere nor is there any danger of lightning. Although light clouds may appear in some districts of eastern Uttar Pradesh on September 25th, the chances of rain are very low. In such a situation, people will again become dependent on ACs, coolers and fans.
Monsoon is slowly withdrawing from Uttarakhand
. Currently, the weather in Uttarakhand is clear and sunny. Due to the rise in temperature on Sunday, people started feeling the heat. There were clouds in some places in the hilly areas, but there was no rain. The Meteorological Department has predicted clear weather till 23 September. However, there may be a possibility of light rain in the hilly areas. Monsoon has now weakened and may completely withdraw from Himachal in the next 24 hours. After this, the process of monsoon’s withdrawal from Uttarakhand will gradually begin. It is estimated that within the next one week, monsoon will completely bid farewell to the state.
35 degree Celsius in Bihar
The monsoon has weakened in Bihar as well. On Sunday, no rain was recorded at any place in the entire state. The maximum temperature of the day reached around 35 degree Celsius and people were troubled by mild humidity. According to IMD, the same situation will continue today, the first day of Navratri. Rainfall activity will be very less for the next two to three days and the temperature will gradually increase. The weather will remain dry in most of the districts, but some districts like Khagaria, Munger, Bhagalpur, Banka and Jamui may witness light drizzle or light rain at one or two places.
Heavy Rain Warning in Jharkhand
The weather in Jharkhand is about to change drastically. A low-pressure area forming in the northern Bay of Bengal has triggered a heavy rainfall warning for the state. The Meteorological Center, Ranchi, has stated that several districts in Jharkhand will experience heavy rainfall on September 24th and 25th. The Kolhan division and surrounding districts, including Dhanbad, will be particularly vulnerable for two days. With the onset of Navratri and Durga Puja, the threat of rain is looming. Crowds will swell at puja pandals, but the rain could exacerbate difficulties. Shopkeepers and pandal decorators may also face difficulties.
