WhatsApp Translation: How to use this new feature
Long-press the message you want to translate and then tap the translate option. After tapping the translate option, you'll be asked which language you want to translate the message into. You can set your preferred language here. This new WhatsApp feature will work in individual chats, group chats, and channel updates.

Automatic Translation
A separate feature has been added for Android users, allowing you to auto-translate the entire chat. Once you turn this feature on, whenever you receive a message, it will automatically translate to your preferred language. While Android users will receive translation support in Hindi, English, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, and Arabic, iPhone users have access to over 19 languages.

WhatsApp states that translation only occurs locally on the device, meaning the company cannot read or store the message. This feature has been rolled out, and it will gradually add more languages. With this new feature, it will be easier to read messages in your own language on this platform, which connects over 3 billion people in 180 countries.
