WhatsApp Features: WhatsApp isn't just a favorite instant messaging app; it offers numerous useful features for a better user experience, making it a unique app. The company not only offers useful features but also ensures user safety and privacy. Encrypted chats are not just for the privacy of millions of users; the app also offers several excellent privacy features, one of which is the Status Privacy feature.
In fact, when sharing a status, we often want to hide our status from certain people, allowing only those we want to see it. Some people want to hide their status from their colleagues, others from relatives and friends. To address this issue, WhatsApp offers excellent privacy settings that allow you to control who can and cannot see your status.
How to Set Status Privacy
When sharing your status, you'll see "Status" written to the left of the send button. Click on this option. After clicking this option, you'll see "Who Can See My Status Updates." This option has three options:
My Contacts, My Contacts Except, and Only Share With. If you want to hide your status from certain people, select the "My Contacts Except" option and then click on the contacts you want to hide it from.
WhatsApp Privacy Feature
You'll see this method when sharing your status, but if you want to change your status privacy in advance, first open WhatsApp. Then, click on the "Updates" tab on the right side of the chat.
WhatsApp Status Privacy
Here, click on the three dots in the top right. After clicking on these three dots, you'll see the status privacy option. From here, you can adjust the settings to your liking before sharing your status.
