Directed by Sujit, Pawan Kalyan’s much -awaited gangster thriller * De Call Him OG * made a mark in theaters around September 25, 2025, causing a wave of enthusiasm among the fans. This Telugu language action-crime story, dubbed in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam, is the beginning of Emraan Hashmi’s bang Telugu film as Omi Bhau. Along with Priyanka Mohan, Kanmani, Arjun Das, Shriya Reddy and Prakash Raj, the film tells the story of the 1993 underworld, where after a decade hiding for a decade, retired don Ojas “OG” Gambhira (Kalyan) again comes to the fore. With the brilliant music of DVV Entertainment and with great music of Thman, * OG * has a mixture of tremendous action, stylistic attraction and emotional innovations, which has been averted from 2024 since June 2024 due to political responsibilities of welfare as Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

Initial box office indicators are indicating a great start. Caiknilk has reported an earning of ₹ 7.8 crore in India till 8:15 am, which is moving forward with a record -breaking advance booking of ₹ 98 crore worldwide – ₹ 65 crore from Gharlu Bazaar and ₹ 33 crore from abroad. With the earnings of ₹ 23 crore from the trees of 24 September, * OG * has left behind Kalyan’s last best opener, * Hari Har Veera Mallu * (first day globally ₹ 67 crore), and is expected to earn ₹ 150 crores worldwide on the day of premiere, which will probably be in India’s top five opening films. Business experts estimate that its earnings worldwide will be ₹ 1,000 crore due to the fanciful mania inspired by the audience, although the competition from the All India release can reduce its popularity abroad.

X (East Twitter) is polarized but mainly a glut of enthusiastic reactions. Fans are describing it as “Pure Power Star Festival”, “Goddess-VIII” of Kalyan’s “Goddess-VII”, such as a quarrel in the shop and clashing in a maize field-and praising Thaman’s “explosive BGM”, which made a splash in theaters. One viewer tweeted, “Pawan Kalyan OG roars-stylish first part, banging interval twist, beast-mode elevation,” and gave it a 5/5 rating for a comprehensive appeal. Sujit’s direction of “Crazy Panth Telescope”, Manoj’s scene and Hashmi’s dangerous villain are being praised, in a post it has been called the “most stylish Telugu film of the decade”. Critics like DNA’s Simran Singh appreciate “Sahaj Killing” in the “stylish Gangsta film” of Kalyan, although some critics have also criticized the lack of speed and emotional fluctuations.

For non-observers, it is a “mixed” film-according to at Threads, recreational spectacle but low in narrative depth. Nevertheless, signs of samurai-rich backstory and yakuza add new adventures, giving it an average score of 3.5–4/5. Welfare, creating a balance to cellulide and corridors of power, * OG * confirms its permanent stardom, and promises to make a buzz at the box office that may redefine their legacy.
