A woman filmed a "cool" car speeding past her in London then "forgot about" the footage, only to discover it was actually part of a movie action sequence when she "unintentionally" watched the finished product a year later. Lots of big budget productions are shot in the capital, with its famed, varied skyline regularly featuring on the big screen.
It's quite common for locals and tourists to see glimpses of future television and film scenes being performed on London's streets. One woman, called Cate, spotted a car stunt taking place and decided to record the moment on her phone.
A year later, she settled down to watch the Amazon Prime film My Fault: London and felt she "recognised" the blue and orange Nissan Silvia motor racing through the streets. It was then that remembered she'd witnessed the making of one of the action sequences.

The film, a romantic drama, follows the story of an American teenage girl named Noah who moves to London when her mother remarries.
She soon meets her stepbrother, Nick, and sparks fly, with the pair quickly falling for each other despite their best intentions.
Nick's distinctive car features in multiple scenes, including a dramatic car-chase involving Noah and her biological father, who tracks her down after being released from prison and then takes off with her.
TikTok user Cate witnessed parts of this final showdown being shot in Wembley, London and captured the action on her phone. In the clip, which has already racked up over five million views on the popular social media platform, Nick's recognisable orange and blue motor can be spotted racing along a street when a white van pulls out in front of it.
The vehicle swerves sharply, dodging a potential smash with the van, before carrying on its journey and barely avoiding another collision with a different car.
Over the top of the footage, Cate included text which reads: "Seeing a cool car scene being filmed randomly in 2024".
She then switched to recording her television, where the identical sequence was playing out in the finished film. She added fresh text: "Unintentionally watching the movie in 2025".
In her video's caption, Cate simply wrote: "I knew I recognised that car".
Viewers flocked to the comments to share their reactions.
One user wrote: "This is soo cool".
Cate replied: "I had completely forgotten about it as well".
A third said: "No way" while a fourth added: "This would make me so happy".
One person said: "OH WOW" and another joked: "fine I'll watch this movie AGAIN".
Someone else gushed: "Literally such a good movie and that's actually so cool!!!"
Another admitted: "I've watched it like six times in the past like two months".
And another added: "For a second, I thought this was just a typical van driver move and the Silvia makes a sick recovery. Now after a little research + this video, I see it's a film and has cool cars and now I pretty much HAVE to watch it."
